The Simpsons "Deep Space Homer" Original Homer Production Cel (Fox, 1994). This original production cel from The Simpsons episode "Deep Space Homer" (Season 5, Episode 15) features a hilarious moment with Homer as a helpless astronaut struggling to get back into his spaceship. Directed by Carlos Baeza, a veteran animator for The Simpsons and Futurama, this iconic episode is a fan-favorite for its absurd humor and clever storytelling. In the episode, NASA, eager to boost TV ratings, seeks a "blue-collar slob" to join their next space mission. Feeling unappreciated at work after losing out on the "Worker of the Week" award, Homer seizes the opportunity, ultimately edging out Barney Gumble to become NASA's unlikely astronaut.
