Description
The Simpsons Bart with Alien Takeover Newspaper Production Cel (Fox, 1991). "Geez, now we're slaves" moans Bart, in this original hand-painted 12 field production cel from "Treehouse of Horror II," the seventh episode in Season 3. In the first story, Lisa has a nightmare about a "cursed monkey paw" that grants wishes; when she wishes for world peace, everyone destroys all weapons, leaving the planet open for conquest by Kang and Kodos. This scene of Bart reading about it comes at the 6:54 mark. Bart's image measures approximately 5.25" x 8.5", while the "Springfield Shopper" newspaper measures 7" x 5". The background is a print that matches the scene, minus the other members of the family. Cel is noted as B5 in the lower right. A Simpsons Certificate of Authenticity is included, and the cel features a 20th Century Fox seal in the lower left. Condition is Very Good, with minor handling wear.Auction Info
