Description
The Simpsons "Bart the General" Original Bart Production Cel (Fox, 1990). This original production cel features Bart Simpson from "Bart the General," the fifth episode of The Simpsons Season 1, directed by David Silverman and originally airing in 1990. In this early fan-favorite episode, Bart becomes the primary target of school bully Nelson Muntz after defending Lisa. Determined to fight back, Bart enlists Grampa Simpson and Herman, the one-armed proprietor of a military surplus store, to help organize the neighborhood kids into a full-scale backyard rebellion—armed with hundreds of water balloons. Voiced by Nancy Cartwright, Bart is loosely inspired by creator Matt Groening and his brother Mark, embodying the rebellious spirit that quickly made him a cultural icon. This outstanding screen-used cel captures Bart in his formative first-season design, reflecting the raw energy and humor of the show's early years.
