The Scooby-Doo/Puppy Hour Title Cel (Ruby-Spears, 1983). Add a rare Scooby-Doo title cel to your collection with fantastic piece! The Scooby-Doo/Puppy Hour started as The Scooby & Scrappy Doo/Puppy Hour but the Scooby & Scrappy-Doo segments were replaced with previous Scooby-Doo episodes on 1/8/1983. The show was re-titled and it continued to air until 9/3/1983 with back to back Scooby-Doo and The Puppy's New Adventures. This adjustment may have been done to recenter the Scooby-Doo segments around Scooby and Shaggy, who had been losing more and more screen time to Scrappy-Doo as the series continued, and the best friends appear in this amazing title cel along with Petey the dog. It's good to note that the Scooby-Doo shorts in this series were written, storyboarded, and voice acted at Hanna-Barbera, with Ruby-Spears providing the animation and editing. This title cel features the trio in full figure and is a rare find, only used for close to nine months before the series ended. The characters and title are hand-painted and measure about 8.5'' x 6.75'' on the 12 field 2-layer production cel which is joined by a two-tone color card background mounted to board with tape at the top edge.
