Description
The Ren and Stimpy Show "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 1992). "That's right. It's the Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy song!" This is an incredibly rare production cel used in one of the most recognizable and memorable moments from The Ren and Stimpy Show, the "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" song sequence. "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" debuted in the last episode of the show's first season, "Stimpy's Invention." Ren is shown here wearing Stimpy's Happy Helmet, which Stimpy used to control Ren's happiness. The cel can be seen at just after the 1min mark of the song sequence, as Stinky Wizzleteats sings the iconic words "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy." It is difficult to imagine a more ideal production cel from this historic Nickelodeon cartoon, than this amazing example here of the two title characters. The painted character area measures 8" x 4.75" on its 12.5" x 10.5" cel sheet. There is a printed reproduction background added for a great display. The cel is in Very Good condition with minor wear.Auction Info
