Description
The Ren & Stimpy Show "Fire Dogs" Stimpy as Dr. Stupid Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 1991). "The reason is because... YOUR PARENTS ARE ALIENS! And while you're at school, they shed their human skins and breathe dryer lint!" Answering a letter from Billy who wants to know why he has to go to school, Stimpy provides yet another utterly daft answer in his recurring intersessional segment "Ask Dr. Stupid", with this original production cel appearing in Season One's episode "Fire Dogs". Dr. Stupid has all the answers you never needed, and in this segment he explains the importance of regularly attending school. Stimpy can be spotted delivering his delirious conclusions near the 0:46 mark of the "Fire Dogs" segment when viewed online. With Dr. Stupid's iconic mortarboard atop his head, Stimpy has a half-figured character size of 5.75" x 4" on the hand-painted cel which bears production codes along the lower edge. The 12 field cel has been placed on a print background for display purposes and features a Nickelodeon seal in the upper right with an accompanying Nickelodeon CoA. With typical handling and edge wear including minor surface wear, overall this educated buffoon is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
