The Ren and Stimpy Show "An Abe Divided" Production Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Games Animation, 1993). In Season 3 Episode 3b, down on their luck pals Ren and Stimpy get jobs "guarding the President" -- the statue of Abe Lincoln, that is. When Ren overhears "there's a treasure inside his head," the usual chaos insures. Here's the original hand-painted 4-cel production setup on its matching hand-painted/airbrushed production background of the episode's Key Scene, as Ren and Stimpy deface the Lincoln Memorial by cutting off the stone head -- which they promptly drop, shattering it into pieces! You can see this scene at the 5:38 mark within the episode, which originally aired on 12/19/93. The gouache background measures 13.5" x 10.75", and includes a clear acetate overlay. This is without a doubt the best Ren and Stimpy Key Master setup we've seen to date, a real WOW! item for fans of Nickelodeon's cult-classic animated series. In Fine condition, with very minor handling wear.
