The Reluctant Dragon Goofy Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1941). Goofy is riding high in this scene from the "How To Ride a Horse" segment of Disney's anthology feature, The Reluctant Dragon. This was the start of the popular "How To" Goofy cartoon series. It was originally intended as a short, but the studio felt it strong enough to include in the feature film. This is a full cel of Goofy and his horse Percy which has been laminated and placed over a printed background; the combined characters are about 7" x 8". Great expression on both! Good condition with a minor crack in Percy's saddle and hind quarters, but no paint loss. Matted to an overall 20" x 17".
