Description
The New Batman Adventures Two Face and Robin Production Cel with Key Master Background (Warner Brothers, c. 1997-99). "It's been a long time, bird boy." Two Face has Robin in his clutches in this hand-painted original production cel taped to its original Key Master background from The New Batman Adventures. Seen at approximately the 17:02 mark of the episode "Sins of the Father", this cel depicts the pivotal scene in which the young Tim Drake takes up the mantle of Robin in Dick Grayson's place. The cel bears a Warner Brothers seal dated 2001, and the piece is accompanied by a Warner Brothers Certificate of Authenticity. The background is rendered beautifully in gouache on background board, and the 12 field setup shows minor handling and edge wear with the background showing mild tape damage in the corners. The cel shows small folds in the upper left corner, and the overall condition is Very Good.Auction Info
