Description

The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh "Party Poohper" Piglet Production Cel Signed by John Fiedler (Walt Disney, 1989). From the fan-favorite episode "Party Poohper" (Season 1, Episode 22A), which first aired on February 25, 1989, this charming original production cel spotlights Piglet alongside two of Rabbit's visiting bunny relatives. Written by Mark Zaslove, the story finds Rabbit obsessed with timetables for his five hundred guests, until over-scheduling chases away friends and fun-leaving him to rediscover the joy of spontaneity. The hand-painted 12-field cel presents a warm, expressive image of Piglet and includes Rabbit's kin for delightful context from the scene. Adding exceptional provenance, the piece is signed by John Fiedler, Piglet's beloved voice. Fiedler's unmistakable tenor anchored more than five decades of stage, film, television, and radio work, from Disney's Winnie the Pooh to Vinnie in The Odd Couple (1968) and Emil Peterson on The Bob Newhart Show. The cel is paired with a print background for display impact and is attractively matted to 15.5" x 13.5". Condition is Very Good. A wonderfully sweet production artifact from The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. A lovely centerpiece for any classic animation collection today.
