Description

The Little Mermaid "Under the Sea" Song Sequence Original Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1989). "Ariel, listen to me. The human world is a mess. Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there!" says Sebastian as he begins his mega-song sequence "Under the Sea" in this animated feature film. Here is an original hand-painted production cel setup of the Octopus and Lobster conga line in this sequence. Sebastian sings, "Yeahhhhhh... Under the Sea!" we can see this scene, around 2:37 into the song. This is a multi-cel production cel setup of all the sea creatures in this song sequence. The Little Mermaid was the last Disney animated feature film to use hand-painted production cels. This setup includes 19 characters, with Sebastian on top of the turtle, who in turn is on top of the Octopus! What a fun setup! The background is a print, added for presentation purposes. Matted with an opening of 15.5" x 10", framed with glass for an overall size of 22" x 16". A Disney COA is on is back of the frame. Cel condition is Good. All frames are sold as-is.
