Description
The Little Mermaid TV Series "Message in a Bottle" Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, and Lanternfish Production Cel with Pan Sized Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1992). Ariel, Sebastian, and Flounder go on an underwater adventure guided by a friendly Lanterfish in this lot that has our intrepid group presented on the amazing Key Master Background from their scene. Seen at the 6:20 mark of the episode "Message in a Bottle" from The Little Mermaid TV Series, this magnificent Key Master Setup has our characters venturing deep into a sea cave after Ariel finds a message in a bottle from someone trapped in a sea monster cave. The production cel has our characters measuring a combined image size of 5.25" x 4.25" on the hand-painted production cel, showcased on the impressive Key Master background, rendered in gouache on background board, measuring a stunning image size of 24.5" x 7.5", enhanced by phenomenal overlays that add a wonderful sense of depth to the piece. A Walt Disney Television stamp can be seen in the bottom right corner, with the top right stating "Original Production Background by Walt Disney Television Animation." A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies this lot. The lot is presented on a 34" x 16.5" Plexiglas fronted frame. The linework shows signs of restoration, and overall the lot presents light handling wear from production. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
