Description
The Little Mermaid Scuttle and Ariel Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1989). "Look at ya. Look at ya. There's something different. Don't tell me... I got it. It's your hairdo, right? You've been usin' the dinglehopper, right?" Ariel looks noticeably different, although Scuttle can't quite tell what's new about her. From the movie that kickstarted the momentous Disney Renaissance, The Little Mermaid, we have in this lot a sensational hand-painted production cel of our lovely protagonist exhibiting her newly acquired feet, accompanied by her winged friend, Scuttle. Created to appear at the 46:24 mark of the movie, this production cel has Scuttle on Ariel's leg and her water reflection, all measuring an image size of 7.75" x 4.25", shown on a printed copy of the background for the scene. A Walt Disney animation stamp can be seen on the right area of the cel, and the lot comes with a COA. The lot is offered on a 24" x 17" glass-fronted frame with a 15.75" x 9" mat opening. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. In Very Good condition, showing minor handling wear from production.Auction Info
