Description
The Little Mermaid Human Ariel and Eric Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1989). Ariel dances with Prince Eric in this stupendous hand-painted production cel from the celebrated animated film The Little Mermaid. Credited as being the first movie of the Disney Renaissance, the beloved modern classic directed by Ron Clements and John Musker takes inspiration from the Hans Christian Anderson tale of the same title. This two-layer cel features the image that appears at about the 58:05 mark of the movie, during Eric and Ariel's date and has our red-haired protagonist in her blue dress and Eric both in full-figure measuring a great joined image size of 3.5" x 4" with the character in the foreground measuring 6.5" x 9.75", all showcased on a printed copy of the scene's background. The cel bears a Walt Disney company stamp near the bottom left corner and is accompanied by a COA. Presenting minor handling wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
