The Little Mermaid Eric and Ariel Production Cel and Master Production Background (Walt Disney, 1989). "Whoa... whoa... careful, easy. Gee, you must've really been through something. Don't worry... don't worry, I'll help you. Come on, come on, you'll be ok." This is what Eric says to Ariel when she washes up on shore with no voice. This is a fantastic original hand-painted production cel of Eric with Ariel during this dialogue on the beach. The production cel is on a hand-painted Master pan production background. The background was sold at the historic Art of The Little Mermaid Auction held in New York City on December 15, 1990. The background was part of Lot 209. It's from the musical sequence to "Kiss the Girl." The pan production Master background measures 10" x 22". The Auction COA for the background is on the back of the mat. Great Eric and Ariel image on the cel, measuring 6" and 7". This Master setup is matted, with an opening of 22" x 10". The Little Mermaid was the last Disney Feature animated film to hand paint production cels. Master setups from this film are rare. Fine condition.
