A captivating original hand-painted production cel from Disney's beloved 1989 classic The Little Mermaid, spotlighting the fan-favorite trio Ariel, Flounder, and Scuttle. This lively frame captures the comic "human stuff" lesson as Scuttle rummages in his sack and triumphantly produces a "snarfblat" (a pipe), earnestly explaining its supposed purpose to a wide-eyed Ariel. In this exact moment, Scuttle uses the snarfblat like a scoop, with playful water effects flicking from the bowl-an action pose that brims with character animation charm. The hand-painted 16-field cel bears the official Disney seal and is presented over a scene-complementing background print. Notably, this cel comes from the same sequence as a piece offered as Lot 29 in "The Art of The Little Mermaid" auction held in New York City on December 15, 1990-an important provenance nod for collectors.
