The Little Mermaid Ariel and King Triton Production Cel Setup (Walt Disney, 1989). "Morning Daddy!" says Ariel as she places a sea flower in her dad's hair. Her sisters say... "She's got it bad!" "What? What does she have?", asks Triton.. "Ariel's in love!" respond the sisters. This is a very rare Ariel and Triton hand-painted production cel setup from this scene. What a pose! Ariel with the "Ariel Green" tip of her tail in the shot and a great image of Triton. Hand-painted bubble effects are over the cel setup. You can see this rare father/daughter image at about the 28:16 mark into the film. There is a Disney seal on the cel, which is placed on a printed background for presentation purposes. Amazing images of 7" and 9". One of the best pure Ariel and King Triton cels together we have ever seen. This is from the last Disney feature animated films to use hand-painted production cels. Framed with a mat opening of 15" x 8.5". This is a "WOW" cel for sure. Glass framed to 22" x 15.5". In Fine condition.
