    Description

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe Production Cel Key Master Setup Group of 2 (Bill Melendez, 1979). This television special was broadcast over two nights on April 1 and 2 in 1979. It drew 37 million views. The animated special was taken from the book by C.S. Lewis and directed by Bill Melendez, who went on to win an Emmy for the show. This is a pair of rare Key Master setups that showcase the Lion -- Aslan. The first piece is 12 field, the second piece is a pan size background of 22" x 10.5". These great cels are on their hand-painted Key Master production backgrounds. Backgrounds were done by longtime Bill Melendez Studio background painter, the great Dean Spille. Cels are stapled in top to their Key Master setups. TWO in this lot. Minor handling with a fold crease on the pan background. Overall Good condition.
