The Land Before Time Sharptooth Production Cel (Don Bluth, 1988). Here is a jaw-dropping hand-painted original production cel of Sharptooth, a Tyrannosaurus, seen in the first terrifying confrontation of the film The Land Before Time. An incredible and kinetic image, this cel captures the tragic and pivotal moment in the film that transitions the plot from its first act to its second. Don Bluth's third directorial effort on a feature film, The Land Before Time was a commercial and critical success at the time of its release, and it is regarded as one of Bluth's best works. This enormous depiction of one of Bluth's scariest villains measures large, approximately 16" x 8.25" on the 16 field cel. The cel itself shows minor handling wear, and it is taped to a printed background for presentation purposes. The condition overall is Very Good.Auction Info
