The Huckleberry Hound Show Pixie and Dixie Production Cel and Custom Painted Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1958). "I hates meeces to pieces!" says frustrated tomcat Mr. Jinx. Those "meeces" he is talking about are those cute little mice, Pixie and Dixie. Pixie, Dixie and Mr. Jinx were part of The Huckleberry Hound Show, which premiered on 10/2/58. This is a superb 12 field hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Pixie and Dixie, with unusually large images of the two, measuring 4". They usually are quite small when seen with Mr. Jinx. Matted with an opening size of 12" x 9", in an overall mat size of 18" x 15". The cel is on a hand-painted presentation background. One of the single best cels of these characters we have seen! Fine condition.
