Description
The Fox and the Hound Big Mama Owl and Baby Tod Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1981). "You know, you're gonna need some caring for" says Big Mama, the friendly owl who finds the abandoned fox cub (Tod) at the beginning of this sweet film about a most unlikely but loyal friendship. This is an original hand-painted two-level production cel with young Tod seen at about the 6:19 timestamp, and Big Mama three seconds later. The combined image size is approximately 8.75" x 5.5". The cel includes a Walt Disney Company seal in the lower left and is matted and framed with glass for an overall size of 19.25" x 16.75"; a Disney Certificate of Authenticity is on the back side. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cels appear to have been laminated (a common practice at the Disney Studios in the 1990s) but with no haloing or other obvious problems associated with lamination. The condition is Very Good to Fine with light handling wear.Auction Info
