The Flintstones Original Opening Fred Flintstone Production Cel and Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1960). "Yabba Dabba Doo!" This is an amazing hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Fred in his car, traveling home after work, in the show's original opening title sequence. This is the very first opening title sequence, known as "Fred Runs Errands." He leaves work, hops on the highway and passes the "Welcome to Bedrock - Pop. 2500" sign, stops at the dry cleaners, and then drives his car into his garage. Here, he is met by Wilma and Dino. This is simply a fantastic original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel, with an image size of 8" x 5". The cel is on an early Flintstones hand-painted production background from an unknown episode, displaying the Bedrock Library. This is one of the single most impressive Flintstones setups we have come across. Fred in his car, from the original title sequence, is a stunning image. This historic piece of television history is framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 21" x 17" with a mat opening of 12" x 9". Frame is sold as-is; setup condition is Very Good.
