    Description

The Flintstones Fred Flintstone Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1960). This is a hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field production cel of Fred Flintstone shaving. This is a great cel from the early episodes of The Flintstones show. In other episodes he has an electric-type shaver consisting of two clam shells with a bee inside, but here he relies on a good, old fashioned straight edge razor! In this scene, we believe the other half of his shaving cream ended up on Dino's face. Notice the bold hand-inking indicative of an early Hanna-Barbera production cel. Fred stands nearly 6" on a cel over on a print background for presentation purposes. Early 1960s Fred Flintstone production cels of this quality are very hard to find. The piece shows some minor handling wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
