The Flintstones Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble and Dino Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1960s). Here is a superb five-layer production cel from The Flintstones. The cel setup features Fred, Barney, and Dino. The series takes place in the stone sage and follows the life of the Flintstones and their next-door neighbors, who are also their best friends, the Rubbles. The Flintstones was originally broadcast on ABC from 9/30/60 through 4/1/66. The Flintstones was the first animated series to hold a prime-time slot on television. This cel setup was hand-inked and hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with a background photo copy. Condition is Very Good with mild handling and wear. In 2013, TV Guide ranked The Flintstones the second-greatest TV cartoon of all time after The Simpsons.Auction Info
