DescriptionThe Flea Circus Production Cels Group of 2 (MGM, 1954). "First on the program, our world famous 52-piece brass band!" says "Pepito's Le Cirque Des Fleas" (Flea Circus) owner Pepito to start off the show. Here is a pair of hand-inked, hand-painted production cels of Pepito and the star of his show, Fifi Le Flea. These are from the Tex Avery-directed short that was released on 11/6/54, with Daws Butler, June Foray, and Bill Thompson providing voices. You can see Pepito at the :42 second mark into the short, and Fifi is at around the 3:27 mark as she dances on stage. Very rare! Full-figure images, with sizes of 4" and 7". Both cels are in one Plexiglas-front frame measuring 30" x 16", with mat openings of 10" x 8". Tex Avery cartoon production cels from this era are nearly impossible to find! Frame is sold as-is; cels are Very Good condition.
