Description
The Brave Engineer Casey Jones Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1950). All aboard! Calling all train lovers! This pair of 12 field production cels features Casey Jones, his train, and a girl tied-up on the tracks. This short, based on the song "The Ballad of Casey Jones", was directed by Jack Kinney and released on 3/3/50. Milt Kahl and Fred Moore were among the animators. You can see the Moore influence on the girl! Both have "2042 Sequence" and "Scene 71" written along the bottom border. This Sequence can be seen at about 3:24 into the short. Artwork such as this is very difficult to find. Nice large images of 3" to 5", in Fine condition.Auction Info
