Description

The Big Bad Wolf Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1934). "I'll get 'em!" says the Big Bad Wolf as he dresses up as Goldilocks the Fairy Queen. He drops from a tree to surprise Little Red Riding Hood along with Fiddler and Fifer Pig. This is a very rare hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field nitrate production cel of the Big Bad Wolf in that disguise. This can be seen around the 3:20 mark into the short. This was the sequel to the widely successful 1933 Silly Symphony short The Three Little Pigs, directed by Burt Gillett and released on 4/18/34. Great image of 6" x 4". Matted with a mat opening of 10" x 9"; overall mat size is 16" x 14". Extremely rare. Fine condition.
