Description
The Beatles Yellow Submarine Production Cel Setup (United Artists/King Features Syndicate, 1968). "Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes and she's gone." Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds musical segment was one of the highlights of this popular animated Beatles film and offered here is an original production cel setup that includes imagery from it. Presented here is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel of a Blue Meany, a rotoscoped man photographing a dog and dancers from the Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds sequence. The overall image of 11" x 16.5" is on a 16 field 3-cel setup which have been stapled together. The setup is in the original shrink -wrapped 20" x 15" presentation mat that it was originally sold in over 50 years ago which bears a gold sticker on front and a Certificate of Authenticity on back. It's a terrific piece of Beatles and animation history. Minor handling and condition is Very Good.Auction Info
