Description

The Art of Skiing Goofy Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1941). "Now to change direction in high speed..." After a bumpy start, Goofy speeds down the mountain, in this original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel. You can find this great scene at the 5:33 mark. This short was not only the start of a run of very funny "How To" Goofy cartoons, but the first appearance of the "Goofy Holler!" This is an original Courvoisier setup with a custom hand-painted background and cel overlay with snow effects. Overall image of Goofy on skis measures about 6" x 4". Cel is matted with the Courvoisier Title label and certificate on back. Matted with an opening of 8.75" x 9", and framed with glare-resistant glass for an overall size of 14" x 15.5". Frame is sold as-is. The trimmed Goofy cel has some curling and minor paint loss in his green paints. Good condition.
