Description
The Aristocats Edgar, Berlioz, and Lafayette Production Cels Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1970). Here's a trio of original production cels from Walt Disney's 20th animated feature film, The Aristocats. The three cels feature the youngest kitten Berlioz, Lafayette the Basset Hound (voiced by Pat Buttram), and Edgar Balthazar, who is Madame Adelaide's butler and the villain of the film. He hopes to get rid of the cats in order to inherit Adelaide's fortune. The film was produced and directed by Disney Legend Woolie Reitherman and released on Christmas Eve 1970. These amazing production cels are all hand-painted on 16 field acetate. The cel with Berlioz is paired with a background copy/print. All are matted to 18" x 14" with 13" x 9" apertures. Condition of the artwork is Very Good, with minor handling.Auction Info
