Description

The Aristocats Edgar Balthazar Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1970). "Adelaide, you mean to say you're leaving your vast fortune to Edgar? Everything you possess? Stocks and bonds? The mansion? Your country chateau? Your treasures, jewels, and...?" Old Picklepuss butler Edgar is delighted to overhear through a speaking tube that his fabulously wealthy employer Madame Bonfamille, who has no living relatives, will make him the beneficiary in her will in this fun hand-painted 12 field production cel. You can see him blowing a kiss in her direction at the 8:08 timestamp. When Edgar hears that the cats will inherit the fortune first, he'll plot to get rid of Duchess and her kittens, making him a classic Disney Villain for the studio's 20th full-length animated feature film. Edgar's pant-less overall image size is approximately 8" x 7.75". We've added a print background of a vintage bedroom to complete the scene. The cel has been trimmed (no pegholes) but is otherwise in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling wear.
