The Archie Show RARE 8-Character Full-Cast Production Cel with Key Master Production Background (Filmation, c. 1968-77). This rare vintage 5-cel, 8-character Key Master setup from The Archie Show is a remarkable piece of animation art. Hand-painted on 12 field-size cels, this setup features a vivid portrayal of key characters from the beloved Archie Comics series, including Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, Betty Cooper, Jughead Jones, Moose Mason, Reggie Mantle, and two additional unidentified friends from Riverdale High. The Archie Show, which aired on CBS from September 1968 to 1969, brought the adventures of these quintessential American teenagers to Saturday morning television. Produced by Filmation, the series was known for its engaging storytelling and catchy musical segments, eventually expanding into The Archie Comedy Hour in 1969 and later transitioning to Archie's Funhouse with live-action components in 1970. Presented over a hand-painted Key Master production background, this setup captures the vibrant and dynamic essence of the show.
