The Archie Show Production Cel Setup with Key Master Pan Background (Filmation, c. 1960s-70s). Sugar, Sugar! We have a gorgeous hand-painted production cel setup and hand-painted panoramic background from The Archie Show. In this setup, we have all our favorite students from Riverdale High: Jughead Jones, Reggie Mantle, Veronica Lodge, Betty Cooper, and of course, Archie Andrews. The gang are surrounding Dilton as he conducts an interview. The Archie Show debuted in September 1968 on CBS as part of their Saturday morning cartoon block. In August of 1969 it was replaced by an hour long version called The Archie Comedy Hour. The Archie Show was the first Saturday morning cartoon to utilize a laugh track. This amazing piece of art is in a mat measuring a whopping 36" x 16" with an opening of 29" x 8.75". This is a great opportunity to acquire a piece of historically compelling animation art!
