The Adventures of Superboy Production Cel Setups with Animation Drawing and Master Background (Filmation, 1966-67). The Boy of Steel had his own animated series for one season in 1966, with Season 2 episodes shown as part of The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. A final season was shown as a segment on The Batman/Superman Hour. Here's a group of original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field cel setups from Season 1: "Superboy's Strangest Foe" featuring the two alien trouble-makers about to throw darts; this is a 2-cel setup with figure sizes of 7.5" and 8". From Season 2, "The Neanderthal Caveman Caper" we have a 2-cel setup with the Caveman and Superboy, figure sizes 5.75" and 4.5" (the Superboy animation drawing is also included). A second 2-cel setup from this episode features just the Caveman, with a figure size of 7.5"; it's placed on a Master hand-painted background. Finally, we have an unidentified cel with two jesters clad in yellow and red (it may be from "The Black Knight" episode, Season 1). Overall image area on this last cel is 6" x 7". Minor handling wear on all. Very Good condition.
