Description
The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo Shaggy, Scooby-Doo and Daphne Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1985). Here's an original production cel featuring Mystery Incorporated's resident hippie Shaggy Rogers, fashion-loving "Danger-prone" Daphne Blake and the perpetually hungry Great Dane, Scoobert-Doo. These are terrific full-figure images from The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, the seventh incarnation of the Scooby-Doo series. Unlike previous Scooby-Doo series, its villains were real demons as opposed to disguised humans. Shaggy and Daphne were given drastic makeovers for this series. Shaggy is now wearing a red T-shirt and blue pants, while Daphne no longer wears her traditional purple dress, but now wears a lavender-colored jumpsuit. Daphne also sports a new hairstyle, which bears some resemblance to Debbie from Speed Buggy. The images were hand-painted on 12 field acetate and matted to 18" x 14" with a matboard aperture of 11" x 8". Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
