Tetsujin 28-go FX Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Tokyo Movie Shinsha, c. 1992-93). Presented is a picture-perfect hand-painted original production cel featuring the iconic Tetsujin 28-go, also known as Gigantor, the original giant robot that would pave the way for the epoch-making mecha genre in anime. This rare black-and-white cel was likely created for the 1992 sequel series Tetsujin 28-go FX, a picture-perfect image of the classic character measuring 6" tall on the 12 field cel. The piece is joined by its matching original animation drawing rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper. Both the cel and drawing are numbered A10 in the upper right corners, and each piece shows minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use. Light paint debris on the drawing, and the condition overall is Very Good.
