    Description

Sylvester "Hippety's Mummy" Color Model Cel (Warner Brothers, 1991). Created for a run of limited edition hand-inked, hand-painted cels inspired by Robert McKimson's 1957 Merrie Melodies short "Mouse-taken Identity", this unnumbered cel would have served as a color model for the painters. In it, Sylvester and his son, Junior, chase the overgrown "mouse", the aptly-named kangaroo, Hippity, throughout a museum. Adorable image depicts Sylvester and Hippety all tangled up in mummy bandages and embracing fondly, as Junior looks on lovingly: "Gee, now you can be my daddy and my mummy too!" beams Junior. Combined character image area measures 8" x 8" on the 12 field cel. A WB seal and a facsimile McKimson signature are in the bottom right corner.
    COA included. In Fine condition.
