Description

Swing Shift Cinderella Wolfie and Red Hot Production Cel (MGM, 1945). "And now that fascinating little fairy tale fireball, that super-duper little pin-up princess... Swing Shift Cinderella!" That's how Red Hot is introduced in this stage appearance that once again will drive the Wolf crazy as he sits with the Fairy Godmother. This is from the Tex Avery-directed short that was written by Heck Allen, and released on 8/25/45. This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of both Red Hot as Swing Shift Cinderella and that "certain burly wolf," Wolfie! It can be seen around the 5:08 mark when she leaves the stage and comes to his tableside. She is only on screen with Wolfie for a brief moment. Amazing images, with large sizes of 5" and 8". Both characters on one 12 field cel; #2 is noted in the bottom right corner. This cel was sold at the early 1990s New York Preston Blair Estate auction. In a mat measuring 16.5" x 14" with a mat opening of 11" x 9". Paint missing and cracking, with minor restoration required. Extremely rare! Fair to Good condition.
