SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron Commander Feral Production Cel with Master Background and Animation Drawing (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1993-95). The authoritative Commander Ulysses Feral from SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron has arrived to bring order to this lot, featuring a stupendous hand-painted production cel of the leader of the Enforcers, shown on a fantastic Master background. Distinctly voiced by Gary Owens, this stern character stands in opposition to the vigilantism of the SWAT Kats, deeming their behavior reckless. Featuring an amazing image of the Commander aiming his laser gun, this cel showcases the character measuring a remarkable image size of 8" x 7", presented on the Master background rendered in gouache on a 14.25" x 10" background board, enhanced by the cel overlay that bears the linework and heavy shadows. Additionally, the lot comes with the matching animation drawing of Commander Feral, rendering him in graphite and colored pencil on the 12-field animation sheet that also presents color callouts in red and blue ink and an animation timing chart on the top edge. The overlay layer has adhered ot the bottom of Feral's cel and is taped to the background by the top edge. With light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
