Description
Superman: The Animated Series "Warrior Queen" Maxima Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers, c. 1996-2000). "Shall I have the ambassador contact him?" "No, I'll handle this... personally." The Queen of Almerac, Maxima, is featured here in this excellent original production cel from the celebrated Superman: The Animated Series. Seen at the 4:13 mark of the episode "Warrior Queen," this cel features the character at a hand-painted 6" tall on the 12 field cel. The cel is joined by an original animation drawing rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper, created for the moment seen at the 4:08 mark of the episode. Maxima measures 7" tall in the drawing. Maxima only appears in this episode, making original production artwork of the character especially difficult to find. The drawing bears an official Warner Brothers seal, and each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Overall minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use, and the cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. The condition is Very Good.Auction Info
