Superman: The Animated Series The Flash and Superman Production Cel Setup (Warner Brothers, 1997). Who is the fastest man alive? In the original DC comic books, Superman and the Flash have raced several times, with the first race occurring in the pages of Superman #199 (cover-dated August, 1967). They also race in this animated series. Here's a hand-painted production cel setup featuring both Flash and Superman, from the Season 2 Episode 4 "Speed Demons," which first aired on 9/13/1997. Great classic poses, with figure sizes of approximately 5.5" tall, placed on a print background for presentation purposes. The setup is matted with an opening of 9.5" x 8.5", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 17.5" x 15.5". A WB seal is on the cel, and a Warner Brothers Certificate of Authenticity is on back of the frame, which comes without a hanging wire. The frame is sold as-is. Cel setup is in Fine condition.Auction Info
