Description
Superman: The Animated Series "The Demon Reborn" Superman and Batman Production Cel with Key Master Background Group of 2 (Warner Brothers, 1999). The Society of Shadows is in Metropolis with the intention to steal an item that may not look very important, but it holds great power. Both Batman and Superman will need to team up to defeat a villain that, according to Batman, is "More dangerous than The Joker and Luthor put together". Both of these cels are taped to their original Key Master background. Batman's cel background is numbered A82 on the top right corner, and Superman's cel background is numbered A76, both rendered in gouache on board. Superman shows up at the 4:31 mark of Episode 11 Season 3 of Superman: The Animated Series "The Demon Reborn" and measures 6.25" tall on the 12 field 3-peghole animation cel numbered 54 on the top right corner. Batman can be seen at the 4:54 mark and he measures 7"; it's numbered B22 on the top right corner. A great opportunity to own matching cels depicting the legendary DC heroes! The two cels show a WB gold stamp. Both backgrounds show light handling wear from production and some tape wear. Two WB Certificates of Authenticity are included.
