Description
Stupor Duck Daffy Duck Production Cel Setup (Warner Brothers, 1956). This parody of the then-popular TV series The Adventures of Superman has Daffy Duck as bumbling hero Stupor Duck and his bespectacled alter-ego, Cluck Trent. Here from that Robert McKimson-directed short, released on 7/7/1956, are two original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field production cels of each identity. The image of Daffy as Stupor Duck occurs at the 1:03 mark, as his cape gets caught on a flagpole. Daffy as Cluck can be seen at the 2:19 mark, as he runs to the broom closet to change into his hero suit. Both have great special motion effects painted on the cel. Daffy as Stupor Duck has a figure size of approximately 3.5", while Daffy as Cluck Trent is 5". It's always a rare treat to see original major character Looney Tunes cels from the Golden Age of WB cartoons! Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.Auction Info
