Springtime for Pluto Title Cel with Key Master Background and Camera Instructions Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1944). Here is a pair of original pieces from one of Pluto's solo appearances. Springtime for Pluto was directed by Charles (Nick) Nichols and in this lot is the original Key Master title cel setup seen at the beginning of the short. It is a hand-inked 12 field cel of the title over the matching hand-painted background. This exact image and can be seen at the start of this cartoon. There is only one title cel for this cartoon and this is it. Next to the cel in the same frame are the camera instruction for the film (production #2295) which have been signed off by the director and Walt Disney himself. Matted and framed together under Plexiglas, the overall piece measures 16" x 31". Some handling is evident; otherwise, condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.
