Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Walking Small" SpongeBob Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 2000). "Well... What about aggressively Nice people?" "Huh?" SpongeBob turns the tables on Plankton's schemes in this original production cel from Episode 18's "Walking Small" of his titular long-running Nicktoon. One of Nickelodeon's last originals to premiere in the 1990s (and the only one of the decade still airing with a total of 15 seasons and counting), this long-running series transitioned away from traditional cel animation after the first season. "Walking Small" debuted on March 22, 2000 and saw SpongeBob attempt to become more assertive under Plankton's direction. When he finally realizes he's been betrayed by his assumed-friend, SpongeBob rectifies his previous behavior with the other beach goers beginning near the 9:28 timestamp of the segment when viewed online. Hand-painted with hand-inked detail to an impressively large full-figure, SpongeBob has a grand character size of 4" x 5.5" nicely centered on the 12 field cel which is marked in the lower right and has been paired with a print background for display purposes. With typical handling and edge wear including minor edge curling, overall this reformed beach patron is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
