Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Sandy's Rocket" SpongeBob, Patrick, and Gary Production Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Nickelodeon, 1999). Patrick presents SpongeBob with a can of Alien Out spray at the 2:41 mark in this season 1 episode of Nickelodeon's animated hit series SpongeBob SquarePants. Offered in this lot is a remarkable hand-painted production cel setup of SpongeBob, Patrick and Gary who together measure 6" x 6" on a 12 field 3-cel setup bearing a Nickelodeon seal in the lower right. The cels are paired with the original matching hand-painted production background to for the coveted Key Master setup. These one-of-a-kind setups represent the rarest of production art and are the Holy Grail for collectors. This series was animated using cels in season 1 only and have become highly sought after in recent years. Minor handling and portions of paint on SpongeBob's face are stuck to the cel under it. Those cels are held together with clear tape. Condition is Good.Auction Info
