Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Rock Bottom" SpongeBob, Patrick, and Bus Driver Production Cel on Master Production Background (Nickelodeon, 1999). After a fun day at Glove World, SpongeBob and Patrick board the wrong bus home and wind up in a deep area known as Rock Bottom. In this original hand-painted 12 field production cel, the bus has gone off a steep cliff and has just arrived in Rock Bottom; the boys in their glove hats are pushed to the front of the bus, where SpongeBob's glove balloon also nails the drive up against the bus's front glass. The combined image (not including the balloon string) has an approximate overall size of 9" x 6", place on an original hand-painted production background from this episode; background artists included Peter Bennett, Michael Chen, Andy Clark, and Calvin Liang, with background designs by John Seymore and Paula Spence. The background is in gouache on skimmed board measuring 13.75" x 10.5", with an image size of 9.5" x 8". In Very Good condition with minor handling wear.Auction Info
