Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Help Wanted" SpongeBob Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 1999). "Aye aye, Captain! One hydrodynamic spatula, with port-and-starboard attachments and turbo drive, coming right up, sir!" During his fateful job interview at The Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs and Squidward task SpongeBob with a seemingly impossible test, which he deftly completes and saves the restaurant from a surge of hundreds of customers. Seen at the 2:30 mark of the very first episode of SpongeBob SquarePants, titled "Help Wanted," this is a spectacular hand-painted original production cel featuring a determined SpongeBob. This is an exciting and rare find featuring the titular character in his first cartoon! SpongeBob was only animated traditionally for its first season, and original production cels from the very first episode are highly sought-after by collectors. This 12 field cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. It is framed under Plexiglas with a mat window size of 13.5" x 10.5" and an overall frame size of 20.75" x 16.75". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Minor handling with some linework fading, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
