Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Arrgh!" Flying Dutchman Production Cel with Coral Overlay and Animation Drawing (Nickelodeon, 2000). The spectral Flying Dutchman makes a phantasmagoric appearance in this stunning lot, featuring the spooky character holding his coveted treasure, as seen right at the end of the SpongeBob SquarePants Episode "Arrgh!" showcasing a fabulous coral overlay and accompanied by a phantasmal animation drawing of the scary apparition. The production cel displays a huge image of the character, measuring a figure size of 9" x 7.25", holding his hankered treasure. This spectacular cel has the character hand-painted and hand-inked to achieve the otherworldly effect of his glow. The bottom layer of the cel features a great coral overlay, hand-painted on the cel, all featured on a printed background. Additionally, the lot has an animation drawing of the character, rendering him in blue colored pencil and his treasure chest in graphite, all with an image size of 9" x 7.5", numbered D25 in the bottom right corner. The production cel presents light handling and edge wear from production. The animation drawing shows some paint residue on the Flying Dutchman, it has the treasure chest taped in, and the animation sheet shows light handling wear from production.
