Description
Speed Buggy Tinker and Speed Buggy Production Cel Scene and Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, 1973). Taking inspiration from the 1968 Disney film The Love Bug, the Japanese series Speed Racer, and Hanna-Barbera's own The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, this Saturday morning series ran for only one season 50 years ago, with 16 episodes released. Despite its short time on air, the series managed to gain a cult audience among fans and collectors. Here is a hand-painted two-level 12 field production cel scene of Speed Buggy acting happy to see his best friend, driver/mechanic Tinker. Speed Buggy's image size is approximately 5.5" x 5.5", while Tinker stands 6" tall. The background is a print, added for presentation purposes. The matching animation drawing of Speed Buggy is also included with the cel. Overall condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.Auction Info
